November 3, 4, 5, 2023

Crafton-Preyer Theatre, Murphy Hall

Mythos

Feel the force of dozens of dancers moving through space and narratives under a theme of “mythos.” The University Dance Company Fall Concert features works in ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and tap choreographed by faculty members, including new KU faculty member Shannon Stewart and guest artist Logan Pachciarz. Assistant Professor Stewart has set work on stages and screened at film festivals across the country and has worked with zoe | juniper and Deborah Hay, among others. Pachciarz is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Moving Arts and previously performed with Twyla Tharp, Boston Ballet, and Kansas City Ballet. The UDC Fall Concert is presented in collaboration with Jayhawk Tap Company, which will provide thunderous entertainment between works.
