Jerel Hilding was a principal dancer with the Joffrey Ballet for 15 years, where he performed in works by many of the 20th century's most influential choreographers, including Balanchine, Arpino, Robbins, Ashton, Cranko, Jooss, Massine, Kylian, and Tharp.
Eleanor Goudie-Averill, Associate Director of Dance at the Lawrence Arts Center, is a 2007 MFA Dance Performance graduate of the University of Iowa. She has served as a visiting professor at the University of Iowa, Bucknell University and Franklin & Marshall college, and as an adjunct professor at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Ashley Brittingham trained with North Central Ballet in Fort Worth,Tulsa Ballet, City Ballet of Houston and American Ballet Theatre in New York. With Tulsa Ballet, under the direction of Marcello Angelini, she performed a wide variety of classical and contemporary leading roles including The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, La Sylphide, Ben Stevenson’s Cinderella, and Jerome Robbins' Fancy Free.
Andie Stitt graduated in May 2014 from Wichita State with a BFA focused in dance. She spends most weekends traveling and teaching master classes or camps at studios throughout the Midwest. At KU she will teach Hip-Hop in the fall, and a Rhythm Tap class in the spring.
